The Sphere

This sculpture, entitled "The Sphere," was originally located at the World Trade Center but after the events of September 11, 2001 it was moved to Battery Park on March 11, 2002.



It was conceived as a symbol of peace by sculptor Fritz Koenig but now stands as a remembrance to all the victims lost in the September 11th attacks.
